We have recently completed this project, which is an interesting and logistically complex scheme for TfL at Victoria bus terminal, central London – to refurbish the existing retail arcade, creating traditional shopfronts to
enhance the shopping experience.
The works comprise both external and internal refurbishment of the existing Victoria Arcade, comprising strip-out of the existing tenant fixtures and fittings; capping off incoming services; new electrical and water supplies; repair and redecoration works to the external facades and arcade thoroughfare.
Logistically, the project was extremely difficult with two open elevations requiring management and segregation, with deliveries being coordinated to the correct entrance to enable works to proceed, all with multiple buses and other road users passing on the busy central London roads and a heavy pedestrian
footfall.
